Panerai Pam 338

My 3rd Panerai. This time it's the Radiomir. I don't really like Radiomir. But i bought this for my wife. The hype for panerai in 2012-2013 is huge. Even my wife want's a Panerai!!.
Ok after selection my choice go to Pam 338, a Radiomir and 42mm. Fits my wife Wrist perfectly.

ok this is my 2nd panerai. I bet every one in here start panerai from base type then eagring to upgrade more.
well i trade my pam 111 to 351. With more complete feature including date, gold hands, tobaco dial, 1950 case.

At last having my first panerai. After plunge in the horology world for a while. I have admire panerai and eyeing this brand as time goes by. But with having 44 mm diameter i never have the courage to own it. So i try to buy the homage first from getat. And it takes time to get used to a big watch on my small wrist. As my willing to have a panerai is unstopable anymore i took a move to the nearest AD in my town. And pam 111 is my choice. A nice simple basic historic pam for the entry level paneristi. This pam 111 is using panerai caliber OP XI which is based on ETA 6497/2. which is manual winding movement. With a Diameter 44mm and Stainless steel polish case.

Overall Pam 111 is a good choice for those who want to try panerai for their entry level. also consider 000, 219 and many more historic base to choose.
i like the manual winding movent and its the first manual winding movement i have
